What Happens to the Calls You Can't Answer?
Quick take: play the game, then see how a missed call can turn into a text with a booking link.
It’s 7pm. You’re flat on your back under a sink, hands full. Your phone rings. You can’t grab it.
By the time you call back, they may have already called the next plumber.
You can’t answer every call. But a missed call doesn’t have to be a dead end.
A quick detour: I built a game
Robot Crate Breakers is a slingshot puzzle game with 12 levels. You knock robots off towers of glass, wood, and steel blocks that crack and break, and earn 1–3 stars per level. There’s a level select and original synthesized sounds. It’s free, with no ads. ▶ Play Robot Crate Breakers
I built the base game with AI tools in one evening (October 18, 2026) and upgraded it the next day. Custom software used to mean hiring a team and waiting. Now small custom tools can be fast and affordable, even for a one-person shop.
Same idea, pointed at a boring problem that costs you money: missed calls.
How missed-call text-back works
- You miss the call. You’re under the sink.
- They get a text right away, with a link to your booking calendar.
- They can book a time while you finish the job.
It’s not magic. It needs your real hours and info, clear limits, and a person checking that it works. That’s the part I do.
Try it: the $297 Founder Pilot
The Founder Pilot sets up missed-call text-back plus online booking for your business. It’s $297 plus about $23 in carrier fees for texting registration. There’s no monthly fee for the first 14 days once it’s running (carrier approval usually takes 10–15 days before that). After that, you keep it for $597 setup + $249/mo, or you stop. My promise: "If it isn’t working by day 14 after go-live, I’ll fix it or refund your $297."

P.S. Got a game idea? Tell me about it.
Made with AI: Robot Crate Breakers was built with AI coding tools (base game Oct 18, 2026; upgraded Oct 19). Physics by Matter.js, an open-source library by Liam Brummitt and contributors (MIT license). Sounds are synthesized in the browser. No ads, and the game itself has no trackers; in the embedded player, progress lasts for that visit only. No client results are described here.
